They were fairly fast with getting my account back, it took maybe 3 days. I had to do a lot of faxing of CD keys though. Just put in a ticket.

out of curiosity - what was the texmod script you downloaded and from what site?
of course - could be many reasons you were hacked - so not pointing the finger - just curious.

Best thing to do would be to send a ticket, and just wait.

Please contact our support team, and they will try to help you out. Posting on the forums can give you some anecdotal information from other players, but it's the support team who will be able to help you recover your account if they can.

For future reference, there is no such thing as a "Texmod script."
Texmod itself is an executable, and so it needs to be downloaded from a trusted source.
The only other files Texmod uses are .tpf files, which are a compressed bundle of image files in direct-draw format and a plaintext index file. In other words, these are raw data, not executable.
If you ever see anyone offering a "script" or other executable file for texmod, it's a fake. The only executable involved should be Texmod itself. Never download anything "for Texmod" other than a .tpf that the Texmod program opens and uses in its normal way.

This is the correct course of action. There is nothing that GWG can do for game/account-related incidents. Please contact their support staff.

I'm curious as to what you downloaded, and from where, that caused this mess. Was it something from the texmod mod index on the wiki? Something from these forums?

There is nothing anyone here can do. You should file a report to ANET via e-mail. However, keep in mind ANET doesn't do anything for hacked accounts. They can't return your stuff back.
